Vista ReadyBoost
Monday, April 30th, 2007Well I’ve just used Vista’s special speed boost feature and I am finding it really does speed up your machine!
I am running a very fast machine and I’ve found that ReadyBoost really helps with some of the more demanding games. Things that ran like silk ran even better with ReadyBoost enabled. To enable ReadyBoost you must have a flash drive that can operate at a fast enough rate and you need to enable the ReadyBoost in Vista. You can do this a couple of ways.
- When you first plug in your device “ReadyBoost” is an option.
- If you want to enable it after the fact you must right click the drive and select propperties. Go to the ReadyBoost tab.
