I was able to get 2 more Wii controllers on the weekend so I invited my parents over for a night of fun and entertainment. We ended up playing Wii most of the night. My Dad loved the boxing and we all did pretty good at bowling. Delila got the best score blowing most of us out of the water with STRIKE, STRIKE, STRIKE SPARE, STRIKE…. She nearly had a perfect game. I on the other hand… Well my performance last night wasn’t exactly all that good. For all the family’s out there I’d recomend getting a Wii for Christmas. It brought fun back to video games.

Well, I don’t want to brag too much but I think I was the luckiest person in Winnipeg yesterday. I went to go pickup my Zellers $25 gift card I was promised because of the Wii incident and it turned out that someone was returning an “extra” Wii at the same time. The employees there wanted to put the Wii in the back and buy it later but I piped up and said I would like to buy it right now! I was able to buy it as well as “Excite Truck”. I wasn’t able to pickup the 480p video cables or extra controllers so we were limited on how many people could play it at the same time.

Delila, her sister Adonika and I played the Wii last night. It was really fun creating Mii’s and having Bowling, Baseball and Tennis matches with each other. We even got through some of the tutorials in Excite Truck. So far the Wii was everything I had hoped for and more. Today I want to try out Zelda and see what it has in store. I will be creating a Wii category for my blog and give out tips on that as well.
